Post 16
Education

Shropshire Adventures Academy has an individual approach designed to meet the needs of Post 16 students, primarily those with an Education, Health and Care plan.
Its offer of preparation for adulthood, built around equine and outdoor studies means that, for a select group of students it provides a unique opportunity to meet their needs that can't be found anywhere else in the area.

Our students have a range of needs, and we have had success working with those who have autism, anxiety, trauma, addiction, behaviour problems and learning difficulties. Our academy home is a beautiful 30-acre site and experienced team of staff offer a calm learning environment where a bespoke blend of qualifications, preparation for adulthood and equine therapy allow the opportunity to address needs on an EHCP in detail. It’s an environment where pupils feel safe, listened to and valued and one in which they can access learning and make progress towards a work environment.

Shropshire Adventures Academy has a history of success, both in re-engaging students and in seeing students successfully move into education, employment and training.

Our comprehensive Post 16 curriculum is not just about covering subjects but is tailored to meet each individuals needs and goals.
