Learning at Shropshire Adventures
Learners experience a nurturing and inclusive environment and we focus on holistic education, recognising and valuing each students individuality. This positive and supportive atmosphere allows students to thrive, building resilience and strength through engaging and adventurous learning experiences.
Referral Process
Initial contact can be made by email. We can do follow up calls/teams meetings and if all is going well the student and appropriate adults will then be invited to a 'taster' session. After the session we will prepare plans as to how we will meet the students needs including meeting EHCP needs and costings. An SLA agreement will then be drafted including a start date.
About The Learner
Student Information
All students can be reassured that the initial taster session will give them a chance to look around, meet everyone and decide if it's right for them.
On enrolment students will be sent a 'starter pack'. Which will include their academy sweatshirt, t-shirt and all the information they need to start their exciting journey.
Who We Work With
Shropshire Adventures Academy is proud to work with a variety of professionals including the British Horse Society, Adventure Consultancy, local authorities and virtual schools.
Through our curriculum we include our mission statement- SHERPA.
